Honda CRF1000L “Africa Twin” is going to be the name of this new model. Rumours tell it’s gonna weight less than 200kg’s -and that is amazing!!
Some photos already seen in the internet!

I wrote about this site before. But now it’s published also in english! I think it’s the best possible site to find new places and roads!! And it’s about us bikers to make it even better. Check it out now!!
(Even if you’re from anywhere else than Finland)
https://motocaching.net/
It says in the frontpage: “Using the free Motocaching service, motorists can share awesome destinations, spots, suggest the coolest curvy roads, and journey to the coziest of places to take a break!”

At the moment I’m the number 1 cachemaker… But I really would like to see someone else make lots of caches!
MotorCycleNews took the testride in Spain. They liked it…. Ahh “like” is not really a word to describe all that they’ve experienced!
“From the beginning of our test route near Barcelona there was immediately no doubt that the XR is both a proper, adventure-style machine *– it’s a tall, substantial bike with bars that brace your arms wide behind a meaty fairing complete with hand-adjustable, two-position screen – but it’s also one with the heart of a snarling beast.”
“Plenty of sportsbikes are set to be shamed by the XR, I guarantee.”
“On this experience, the XR isn’t just a bike for all reasons, I’m struggling to think of any reason why you wouldn’t want one. Prices, TBC, are set to start around £13K for the bog basic that no-one will want, the around 15 for the fully-loaded variants.”
This Bike should arrive (TO ME!) after 34 days of waiting!

My experience about low-riders is very limited! Or actually I don’t have it at all!
So now I desided to take a test ride with this mean-machine: Victory Gunner.
Test ride was short, and those gears are long! In second gear I was already reaching 80km/h!! And it felt so easy!
The sound from the exhaust made my heart pumping like crazy… and I really felt alive. This bike took the corners easily and it didn’t feel difficult at all to sit so low.

But then after the test ride I realized that already in the 4th corner the foot-pedal was hitting the ground (making sparkles I hope!) Oh my god I thought, I can’t ride this bike so fast as I wanted to… That’s a disappoinment! Then I took my Crosstourer and took the same corners with 20km/h more speed -and it felt good!

I finally understood it! Or actually it was my rear end who said the final word “I can’t take it anymore!” And also I got so nice offer from Bike World and I just couldn’t resist it. Now I’m riding Honda VFR1200X Crosstourer until the Beemer arrives. Or in worst case scenario -I can ride the summer-tour with this Honda (name: SikaSika = PigPig)

Finally I got the chance to make a test ride with this beauty! I think it’s one of the most beautiful bikes ever! And with that V2 engine and wide exhaust pipes it also has some most impressive sounds too.

Here is the close picture of the shiny pipes:

And here is instagram video where you can have some idea of the sounds: https://instagram.com/p/1m6iHSLiFE/
But unfortunately the riding position for a big guy like me is not good! Seat is too low and the distance to foot pedals is too short. I was thinking if I had to ride this bike more than 100km’s it would make my legs totally numb! But everything about the engine, sounds and gearbox is very good or even perfect! If you’re shorter than 175cm this could be the bike for you… At least it’s very different than any other bike!
This one is for sale in R.M. Heino

Went to a groupride with other dirt bikes.
Finnish gravel roads are very wet and difficult to ride after the snow is gone. There still might be some ice under the gravel and some wet parts are very slippery also.
My bike at the moment is quite good also for “enduro-riding”. Ok it doesn’t have a big front wheel but it’s no problem for me.
I’ve learned to enjoy riding in gravel as much as in better roads. Here’s a video I shooted today.
I made a big mistake NOT to check my cameras lens-position before I started shooting! Ooops! But okay it can be rotated in moviemaker and this is the result!
Bought these today. Are these the best gloves in the world? Maybe not for the track or racing (they fit there too!) But as universal motorcycle gloves? What I’ve heard about these, we sure are very close to it!

First thing to tell is the fitting -it’s perfect! They don’t feel too tight anywhere or there’s no empty space anywhere!
Second thing is the 5 year warranty, so if these will have any false or damage I will get new ones!
Third thing is that they are waterproof and windproof! So ok, maybe these are not the best gloves to ride if it’s very warm weather! But I really suggest you make a investment for your future (as motorcycle rider)! Buy Rukka!
Bought these from superbikers
Today was BMW motorcycle dealers Season 2015 start! Little bit unlucky that it’s so damn cold (-1 celsius) since it has been very nice weather more than a week before this. But I took my Xmoto and wanted to take a test ride with some of the new models…
I got R1200R which was brand new!

This was a good test ride after Dorsoduro a week ago. These bikes have pretty much the same kind of specs but when Aprilia was giving everything even from the lowest rpm the BMW did the same but little bit softer. This has the same performance but much better suspension! And ofcourse the different riding modes gives the BMW more possible ways to ride it (rainy weather, gravel roads, city-riding, highway and so on…)

With this bike you can really understand why you dont actually need so much horsepower to ride fast! In the curvy mountain roads this might be the best possible bike ever! This is a real gentlemans sport tourer! Unfortunately for me the bike is little bit too low, seat-hight is 79 cm’s.
This bike is for sale in Biketeam.
