  • I was riding in the 8th of November but was it the last time?

It was in July 2024 when I had made the route in Bromarv peninsula for a short adventure. And I went there with the camera… but I forgot to take the spare battery! So I couldn’t shoot everything that time.
Finally now I made “the same” and now I had spare batteries for the camera.
There is also this one “famous” Padva beach on that Bromarv peninsula.

  • EICMA 2025

This year the Legendary Motorcycle exhibition in Milan offered only 2 interesting new models!
Kawasaki KLE500 and BMW F450GS. They are both in the same competition than almost every other brands are: Middleweight bikes that you can ride with A2 license.

Kawasaki KLE500 has 451cc parallel twin and 21″ front wheel (17″ rear). Almost all other specs are still unknown.

BMW F450GS has 420cc parallel twin. It weights 178kg and it has 48hp.
Front wheel is (only) 19″ and rear is 17″. Ground clearance is 22cm.

  • I’ve been riding around Karkkila – Pilpala area now already 2 times to find the new route for section 13!
First time was 11th of October and second time was 25th of October.
In the map those 2 times look like this:

And luckily now I can say that Yes I have found the new route for the section 13 and the update will be published soon. I can definitely say that the area near Cafe Lättis has some very nice roads and tracks and now I know the area quite well.
Ofcourse I made the videos and you can watch them here:

Make sure you will always have the latest version of TET tracks when you go riding!
Download the TET Finland here: https://transeurotrail.org/finland/

  • I’m calling this as “my baby” because it goes so close to the place where I live.
But the section 5 was updated quite many times since it was published with it’s full length.
It has “south part” from Siuntio to Turku and it has “north part” from Mynämäki to Räyskälä.
Now it was time to make the north part at least little bit better!
The section has mainly quite big gravel roads all the way from Mynämäki to Somero. Now I decided to check is there better and smaller roads between Heikin Laavu Lean-To shelter and Somero. This is only about 30km’s.

The new part of section 5 starts at 10:10

  • BMW Moottoripyöräkerhon alueiden tapaaminen

This post in Finnish only/ Eli kirjoitan tämän postauksen Suomeksi

Ajoin menomatkalla Jokioisten kautta.

  • I was expecting that I wouldn’t have too much energy or will to ride after my long trip around the Baltic Sea. But I was wrong! I’ve been riding like crazy!
In the beginning of August I was riding back home after visiting Helsinki area. This video is in Finnish.

Then I started to think that maybe I should do at least 1 group ride because I know so many riders would like to join! Started to plan the route… But this ride ended in big embarrassment!

Took another ride for planning the route:

And then one ride with a friend:

And yesterday I took a ride in Hanko Peninsula (Some amazing tracks!)

And there’s still 1 weekend coming!!! Maybe for the group ride?

  • It all started in April I think? The first time I went swimmimg (but I don’t have a video of that one).
The first time on the sea was 13th of June and that is in the video! (The dip is at 18:14)

Then I have on the video when I’m swimming in Sweden (the dip is at 10:09)

Then going to Lappohja beach (the dip is at 12:03)

Then going swimmimng to the lake that I didn’t go before (I didn’t take the video when I was swimming but the beach and the lake are at 11:38)

Then going to Hanko with bicycle, that was cool! (The swimming is at 02:54 & 12:58)

And then to the Iso-Simi -lake (I didn’t make a video of the swimming but the lake is at 06:55)

For this last video I even bought a thermometer for measuring the water temperature (4€!) because in the news they said that the water on lakes has gone over +25°! And yes, even this very deep lake with very clear water was 25-26°. This kind of temperatures are extremely rare here in Finland!
And yesterday it was also Jaakko’s day. According to popular belief, Jaakko throws a cold stone into the lake (and sea) and the water begins to cool down.

  • Started unscrewing things from my bike on Sunday.
I knew the airbox is fractured (broken) from the bottom. Exactly from the place where the breather line is connected to it. So I was thinking if I remove (and chenge) the airbox, maybe there is room enought to remove the fan also?
    There isn’t!
But luckily the removing of the radiator is not so big job! After you remove side fairings from the bike you only need to remove the plastic cover of the radiator (1 screw) and then you can release the radiator itself (2 screws)! Here’s the whole “unscrewing things” video:

And the fan was like this:

And on monday I got the new fan for my bike. I ordered it from Poland. It was 70€ with delivery costs so not a bad price at all! The airbox is also new! I ordered it already last summer when I heard from Biketeam that it’s broken. Now finally I got it changed to a new one!
Yesterday I put everything back together in my bike and made a test ride.
    It was almost +30° C!
