  • GoPro Strikes back!

    New camera from GoPro is out. It’s called Mission 1 (or Mission 1 Pro or Mission 1 Pro ILS).
    They don’t call them “Action camera”. They’re called “Compact Cinematic Camera System”!
    This camera has quite amazing specs! It has 1″ image sensor and GP3 system prosessor -makes it possible to capture
    8K60 or 4K240 video!

    In this picture we have the ILS -version of the camera and that doesn’t have any lens in the camera itself! You need to buy them separately -they are interchangeable! So that’s why it’s quite understandable that the camera is considered as a “cinematic camera”.
    I think other manufacturers will answer with similar products?! Insta360 is already “half a year late” with it’s new Ace Pro model…

    360° camera with excellent picture and video quality!
    Finally bought this camera and I’ve been testing it few times. The first ride with motorcycle I did about week ago and the video is in Youtube:

    I’m very happy that this camera has now the possibility to record 2 audio channels at the same time (same as AcePro 2). But there’s a prolem if I have them both with me and if they are both connected to my helmet phone! But that problem is sorted if I just unconnect the other one (probably this X5 will not be connected).
    On the next day we made a longer ride in Kiikala area! Now I had both of my cameras with me.

    I bought a new camera!

    This camera I can also connect via bluetooth to my Sena Spider ST1 helmetphone and use it as a microphone.

    My first video that I published was about testing the the camera with the microphone (helmetphone) and also about testing the video quality.

    And I also made a remix video of the same ride (No talking and POI is always forward)

    And I made a video with both of my cameras so that you can compare the video quality (and sound quality) between Insta360 Ace Pro and Insta360 X4.

    With Quick Capture mode you can turn the recording on with one button but one big minus is that you can’t stop the recording with one button!!! I hope they will change this in future updates!
    But after been using this camera now for awhile I can say that I’m very happy with the video quality and the sound quality. Thank You Insta360!

  • 10 year old action camera Vs. New action Camera

    I still have some of my old action cameras and I had this idea quite long time! I wanted to compare the old ones to the new ones I am using now. Finally I did it.
    The old cameras that I have:
    JVC GC-FM1 (pocket camera), but for this one I didn’t find the correct wire to charge it.
    Sony HDR-AS30V Quite good camera already! It has even digital Steady Shot stabilizer.
